Watch out, another wide-spread cyberattack has been launched this evening 27/06.
The new ransomware attack is making chaos worldwide, shutting down computers at corporates, power supplies, and banks across Russia, Ukraine, Spain, France, UK, India, and Europe and demanding $300 in bitcoins.
Our high advanced detection system noticed a new variant of this ransomware, also known as Petwrap.
It is spreading rapidly and equal to the WannaCry ransomware which infected 300,000 systems and servers worldwide in just 72 hours last month.
ITCE uses a highly advanced security system that reduces the risk of infection to an absolute minimum.
However, even with the best security deployed the user is the weak link.
So far, we have been able to intercept multiple hack attempts and secured our customer base.
We keep monitoring the situation closely, but ask for your cooperation.
The virus comes via emails with an attachment or link to an infected website.
The victim is asked to open the infected attachment or click the link of the website.
Doing this, you will download and install the ransomware without being aware of it.
You should pay particular attention to emails send by unknown users or if the content seems suspicious.
