ITCE signs agreement for support services with VLM Airlines N.V. (trading as Cityjet BeNeLux)

ITCE recently signed a service agreement for maintenance and support with VLM Airlines N.V. (operating under the designation Cityjet BeNeLux), the recognized and highly respected regional airline offering flights to and from London City Airport. London City Airport is incredibly close to the West End, The City and Canary Wharf, making the airport a privileged location for serving business travelers to the financial heart of Europe.

Cityjet BeNeLux will rely on ITCE to support its in-house IT department and all its users, locations and critical applications 24/7. With its excellent knowledge in the field of VMware, virtualisation and Citrix, ITCE was well placed to win this support contract.

The offices of ITCE are located at the International Airport of Antwerp where the head office of Cityjet BeNeLux is located. Additional stations that will also be supported include Eindhoven and Rotterdam (the Netherlands), London (UK), Orly and Deauville (France) and Luxembourg.

Cityjet, a European airline with headquarters in Dublin (Ireland), has branches in Antwerp and London, with employees spread across Europe, particularly in Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, England and Ireland. As a subsidiary of Air France – KLM, one of the largest aviation groups in the world, Cityjet acquired the Belgian airline VLM Airlines (VLM) in 2007.
With a combined fleet of 38 aircraft, composed of Avro RJ85 and Fokker 50s, the company operates more than 480 flights a week across Europe.

Stefan Verstraeten and Peter Bulckaert, representatives of the higher level of Cityjet BeNeLux: “ITCE has proven in the past that they are a reliable partner and that they understand that our network, systems and applications are critical for our operations. They have extensive knowledge about virtualization and their employees are motivated and committed. We are pleased that we can continue to count on their support in the future “.

Thierry Leyssen, manager of ITCE states: “The contacts we have had with policymakers in the past, both in Dublin and in Antwerp, have enabled us to convince them of our possibilities, approach and flexibility. We are extremely pleased to continue to be able to count Cityjet BeNeLux among our customers”.
